September at Hrvatski dom Vukovar brings a diverse programme of science, theatre, comedy and activities for children, along with the start of a new season for our drama and dance groups.
A new season begins at Hrvatski dom Vukovar with a diverse September programme featuring science, theatre, comedy, activities for children and new beginnings for our drama and dance groups.
Throughout September, Hrvatski dom will once again be a meeting place for different generations, interests and audiences.
21st Ružička Days
9–11 September
This international scientific and professional conference dedicated to Nobel Prize winner Leopold Lavoslav Ružička brings together numerous speakers and participants. The programme also includes a meeting of young chemists.
Days of Laughter
16–19 September at 8:00 PM
Four days, four comedies and four evenings at the theatre:
- 16 September – Vojni rok, Kazalište La La Land
- 17 September – Papučari, Teatar Gavran
- 18 September – Ništa bez reklame
- 19 September – Penzići luduju, Teatar Kerekesh
Tickets for each performance are €10.
Book Presentation: “I ludolozi su l(j)udi”
16 September at 5:00 PM
Before the first performance of the Days of Laughter programme, we will present “I ludolozi su l(j)udi”, a humorous book by Dr Veljko Đorđević.
Children’s Wednesday
Our youngest visitors can look forward to two programmes in September:
- 23 September at 6:00 PM – Pčelice
- 30 September at 6:00 PM – Majstori
Drama and Dance Programmes
With the beginning of the new school year, our programmes for children and young people are also returning.
Plesna početnica begins on 15 September at 6:00 PM. The rhythm and contemporary dance programme is led by Marija Stanković Kovačević.
Dramski studio takes place on 26 September at 3:00 PM, with acting and interpretation sessions led by Tijana Pavliček.
Scena Martin also continues its work. Following the successful premiere of Sve sretne obitelji, the group will perform in Sinj. This autumn, Scena Martin will once again bring together its existing members while welcoming new participants to work on a new production.
